Vieilles Vignes Carignan
Deep garnet with ruby highlights. Complex, expressive nose — ripe cranberry and dark raspberry interwoven with liquorice, dried herbs and warm Mediterranean spices. Vibrant acidity, well-integrated tannins, long spiced finish — genuine personality and ageworthy structure.
Food Pairing
Rich poultry (turkey or duck), lamb, red meat dishes, aromatic spiced cuisine.
Vineyard And Terroir
Clay-limestone at 1,050 m. Carignan has grown in Lebanon for over two centuries — these old organic bush vines without irrigation give full intensity.
Winemaking
Indigenous yeast ferment in concrete; spontaneous malolactic. Aged 2 years in concrete vats — an unusually long élevage that builds remarkable complexity.

Domaine Des Tourelles
Founded in 1868 by French adventurer François-Eugène Brun, Domaine des Tourelles is Lebanon's oldest commercial winery — a living testimony to over 150 years of winemaking in the Bekaa Valley. Original 19th-century equipment, ancient concrete vats and organically farmed vineyards still shape the estate today. The Issa and Issa-el-Khoury families carry this heritage forward, blending tradition with contemporary innovation.
