Refund and Return Policy

These terms and conditions explain your rights when shopping at VinoLibano.CH and how you can request a refund or return an item.

1. Right of withdrawal

Under Swiss law, distance sales of wine are generally not subject to a statutory cancellation period. We nevertheless offer a return period for unopened bottles in their original condition (see Section 3). Your statutory warranty rights under Swiss law (Swiss Code of Obligations, Art. 197 et seq.) remain unaffected by these guidelines in all cases.

2. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, corked or not as ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@vinolibano.ch, providing your order number and photos. We will replace the item, issue a credit note or refund the affected items.

3. Returns as a gesture of goodwill

Unopened bottles in their original, undamaged packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods. The refund will be issued minus the original delivery charges.

4. Non-returnable items

For hygiene and quality reasons, the following items cannot be returned: opened bottles, bottles that have not been stored under the correct conditions, gift vouchers, personalised items, and tasting and travel bookings that have already been used.

5. Tastings, gifts & excursions

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will be refunded in full. Between 14 and 7 days: 50% refund. Less than 7 days or no-shows: no refund. A rebooking is possible subject to availability.

6. Returns procedure

Please email info@vinolibano.ch to obtain a return authorisation. Please send the items, securely packaged, to the address we provide. We recommend using insured postage.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned items.
