Sandy limestone with clay subsoils at 1,050 m in the Western Bekaa. 300+ days of sunshine and significant diurnal variation.

Hand-harvested. Cold ferment in stainless steel with wild yeasts; brief lees ageing for texture. Minimal intervention preserves aromatic character.

Domaine Des Tourelles

Founded in 1868 by French adventurer François-Eugène Brun, Domaine des Tourelles is Lebanon's oldest commercial winery — a living testimony to over 150 years of winemaking in the Bekaa Valley. Original 19th-century equipment, ancient concrete vats and organically farmed vineyards still shape the estate today. The Issa and Issa-el-Khoury families carry this heritage forward, blending tradition with contemporary innovation.
